Italian MP Sandro Brandolini interrogates Italian government again about chemtrails

by qbit on Jan.30, 2009, under In the News

“ [Government] continues to give incomplete answers regarding a phenomenon that can have serious impact on the health of citizens”

Cesena, 28 January 2009 (Italian)

Member of parliament PD Sandro Brandolini returned to ask the government to clarify the phenomenon of so-called “chemtrails.” “Until the government will clarify, I will continue to seek answers,” he states.

Since the month of june, in fact, this will be the third interrogation of parliament. “It is necessary to supply the citizens, very worried by the presence of anomalous contrails, with documenting information.” Something that the government, in particular the Minister of Defense, according to the Hon. Brandolini is not doing.

In response to the second question, last December 16, the Ministry stated that “Surveys have allowed us to exclude the involvement of the aircraft of the Air Force in the generation or emission of anomalous contrails due to condensation of water vapor. The Air Force also has not supplied to the aircraft used for spreading chemicals, nor do we have have evidence that military aircraft that operate at low altitude on the Italian territory have dispersed or sprayed chemicals.”

“The Ministry, however, did not say, however, which scientific research has been conducted, which investigations have been carried out, or what data were collected on flights, military or otherwise, carried out in the national airspace that have caused the release of chemtrails,” says Brandolini.

“Also,” Brandolini continues, “with a new question, presented to the Presidency of the Council and the Ministers of Defense, Environment, and Education and Research, one wonders why the government does not consider monitoring and recording the times, places and manner by which chemtrails are forming in national airspace in order to implement a database useful to define the nature and possible consequences on health, climate and environment.”

The question ends with a request to know if the Air Force or other public entities are involved, and if there is a joint operation between Italy / USA regarding science and technology of climate change.

Barium Nitrate

3. Hazards Identification

Emergency Overview
————————–
DANGER! STRONG OXIDIZER. CONTACT WITH OTHER MATERIAL MAY CAUSE FIRE. MAY BE FATAL IF SWALLOWED. HARMFUL IF INHALED. CAUSES IRRITATION TO SKIN, EYES AND RESPIRATORY TRACT. AFFECTS MUSCLES (INCLUDING THE HEART), AND CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM.

SAF-T-DATA(tm) Ratings (Provided here for your convenience)

———————————————————————————————————–
Health Rating: 3 – Severe (Poison)
Flammability Rating: 1 – Slight
Reactivity Rating: 3 – Severe (Oxidizer)
Contact Rating: 2 – Moderate
Lab Protective Equip: GOGGLES & SHIELD; LAB COAT & APRON; VENT HOOD; PROPER GLOVES
Storage Color Code: Yellow (Reactive)
———————————————————————————————————–

Potential Health Effects
———————————-

Inhalation:
Causes irritation to the respiratory tract. Symptoms may include coughing, shortness of breath. Systemic poisoning may occur with symptoms similar to those of ingestion.

Ingestion:
Toxic! May cause tightness of the muscles of the face and neck, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, muscular tremors, anxiety, weakness, labored breathing, cardiac irregularity, convulsions, and death from cardiac and respiratory failure. Estimated lethal dose lies between 1 to 15 grams. Death may occur within hours or up to a few days. May cause kidney damage.

Skin Contact:
Causes irritation to skin. Symptoms include redness, itching, and pain.

Eye Contact:
Causes irritation, redness, and pain.

Chronic Exposure:
No information found.

Aggravation of Pre-existing Conditions:
Persons with pre-existing skin and nervous system disorders or impaired respiratory or kidney function may be more susceptible to the effects of this substance.

4. First Aid Measures

Inhalation:
Remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get medical attention.

Ingestion:
Get medical attention immediately. Induce vomiting immediately as directed by medical personnel. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. After vomiting, a mixture of 1 tablespoon of sodium or magnesium sulfate (Epsom salts) dissolved in 8 oz. of water to drink maybe indicated to precipitate the barium as the nontoxic and insoluble barium sulfate.

Skin Contact:
Immediately flush skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Get medical attention. Wash clothing before reuse. Thoroughly clean shoes before reuse.

Eye Contact:
Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, lifting upper and lower eyelids occasionally. Get medical attention.

Note to Physician:
Monitor patients with significant ingestion for respiratory, cardiovascular, and blood pressure status. Watch for cardiac arrhythmias, respiratory failure due to flaccid paralysis of respiratory muscles, pulmonary edema, vocal cord paralysis, severe hypertension, and late effect kidney failure. Acute barium poisoning results in hypokalemia. The administration of fluids containing dilute concentrations of potassium salts may be indicated.

8. Exposure Controls/Personal Protection

Airborne Exposure Limits:
For Soluble Barium Compounds:
OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL):
0.5 mg (Ba)/m3
ACGIH Threshold Limit Value (TLV):
0.5 mg (Ba)/m3 A4 – not classifiable as a human carcinogen

Ventilation System:
A system of local and/or general exhaust is recommended to keep employee exposures below the Airborne Exposure Limits. Local exhaust ventilation is generally preferred because it can control the emissions of the contaminant at its source, preventing dispersion of it into the general work area. Please refer to the ACGIH document, Industrial Ventilation, A Manual of Recommended Practices, most recent edition, for details.

Personal Respirators (NIOSH Approved):
If the exposure limit is exceeded, a full facepiece respirator with dust/mist filter may be worn up to 50 times the exposure limit or the maximum use concentration specified by the appropriate regulatory agency or respirator supplier, whichever is lowest. For emergencies or instances where the exposure levels are not known, use a full-facepiece positive-pressure, air-supplied respirator. WARNING: Air purifying respirators do not protect workers in oxygen-deficient atmospheres.

Skin Protection:
Wear impervious protective clothing, including boots, gloves, lab coat, apron or
coveralls, as appropriate, to prevent skin contact.

Eye Protection:
Use chemical safety goggles. Maintain eye wash fountain and quick-drench facilities in work area.

News report about barium and chemtrails

by qbit on Jan.27, 2009, under In the News, What are they?

Mainstream news report: High levels of barium found in Arkansas water.

And why exactly should you be worried about barium aerosol? Its a toxic heavy metal.

MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) for barium nitrate

Barium nitrate is belived to be one of the primary bariuim salts found in chemtrails.

Chemtrails time-lapse video, Ann Arbor Michigan, 2007

by qbit on Jan.27, 2009, under What are they?

Time lapse video illustrates how the trails disperse and seed a blanket of haze that covers the entire sky. Depending on atmospheric temp/humidity, chemtrails can easily turn a clear sky into a gray one. You can imagine what the sky looks like 100 miles downwind of this mess.

I shot this in Ann Arbor a while back.

What are “chembows?”

by qbit on Jan.25, 2009, under Optical Phenomena, What are they?

If you’ve been paying attention to chemtrails, you may have observed rainbow smearing (diffraction) of light reflected off them.  Dark sunglasses can bring the subtle rainbows into the dynamic range of the human eye.  Chembows are often visible when the sunlight reflects at approximately 45• angle to the chemtrail.  Wikipedia entry on diffraction

Diffraction is a quantum interaction between photons of light and edges of atoms.  When metallic surfaces have features smaller than a wavelength of visible light (nanometer scale),  different wavelengths will be reflected at different angles.  When features are ordered in a linear pattern (such as on a DVD optical disc), a rainbow will appear.

In the rain, or other atmospheric conditions where water droplets are large enough, rainbows appear due to refraction.  Atmospheric refraction (such as from a rainbow in a rainstorm) is a similar phenomenon to chemtrail diffraction.  Its important to note, however, that rainbows can be seen in light reflected off chemtrails, not only refracted from behind, which may occur under other atmospheric conditions, such as the presence of large ice crystals or droplets.

Refraction thru a prism (or water droplet of sufficient size). Refraction occurs when light passes thru a surface into a material with different <i>index of refraction</i>

Dark sky indicates reduced exposure, necessary to bring rainbow into dynamic range of the sensor.

Filamentous wisps may indicate presence of heavier-than-water particulate aerosol.

NASA IR Satellite Chemtrails

by qbit on Jan.24, 2009, under Optical Phenomena, Satellite Imagery

NASA illustrates for us that chemtrails have a different infrared signature than normal clouds. Its unclear what “enhanced” infrared is. Perhaps a different wavelength. Further investigation needed.
